I find the AB repeat highly useful; it allows me to loop my favorite video scenes over and over! Its easy to move files around , e.g., into folders. Never thought Id find it useful, but you can bookmark your spot. But wait, theres more! You can use and configure gestures for things like rewind or forward 10 seconds, go full screen, AB repeat, etc. Regularly updated.

Does everything it says it does and well.

Use it constantly. No problems. Adding Folders and file organization on iTunes would make it a 5 star.

It plays all kinds of videos at up to any speed set by user. But the could use an update to better integrate with playlist in itunes because arent organized in directories or playlist.

Go to "Options > Configure Gestures" to see what each gesture does. E.g., speed up to 1.5x or slow down to a few frames per second, pause, play, zoom, etc. You can also customize or turn off the gestures. Sometimes, you want to see a scene frame-by-frame or zoom-in to a specific spot in the frame; this video player allows you to do that. Also, it is a stable player. I have not encounter any crashes or hangs. One suggestion, items in a locked folder should not automatically show up in the "Recently Played" playlist category because doing so defeats the purpose of having a locked/secured folder.

Two recommendations: make playlist management easier and allow easier connection to cloud storage services Other than that, I absolutely love the gesture controls and the interface. Bravo!

Its good app to handle watching video. Easy to control for everything.

For someone who has to watch video lectures and study on the go, this is an incredibly helpful app! I have used this app while studying for USMLE Steps 2 and 3; it has been a life-saver and dramatically increased my productivity because I can get the same amount of information in a shorter amount of time. The interface is user friendly and I have had no issues with bugs or crashing. 5 stars all the way!

I bought this to use on my video recorded guitar lessons. The Apple playback was driving me nuts! Love the gesture controls, they are numerous and can be user defined. A quick swipe left and it reverses your preferred distance. A-B repeat allows me to chose a section and loop it for repeated play, including the speed shift I want. As a professional film editor who uses Avid Media Composer on a daily basis, I love the control this gives me.

The write-up on the app specifically said it would slow down to 0.5x, but it will not allow me to do less than 1x on my iPad recorded videos. For me, it was a waste of money.

Couldnt live without it.

It works well, but unfortunately only plays MP4, mov, and m4v. I have to convert hundreds of educational videos to take advantage of this capability. Disappointed.

The app works does what it says on the box and does it well. This is a note to the developer as I couldnt find a support email or forum. After uploading files to iPad via WiFi, some files will stop playing part way through and instead show a blank screen but time still progressing. The thumbnail for the video then shows a blank white document. Uploading the video again fixes the problem. Please fix this weird behavior

Love your program. Really helps me with guitar videos. The only thing I wish you would fix is the small icon that moves the program to complete screen. It is too small and have to hit icon many times to get left part of screen (where you can change settings and pick the files you want to play)

Im just updating the review I wrote over a year ago, when I first acquired SpeedUpTV. Its still true: this is the best iPad app ever written. Im not joking: I use this app at least once a day. If you load videos onto your iPad and watch them, this app has every feature you ever wanted, at an unbelievable price. The gesture interface is perfect. Its also extremely stable. The only thing missing is some way to hook it into iOS so that it is the default video player (Im fairly certain that this is an iOS limitation).

I listen to several MP4 files at twice the speed using this app. I have saved amazing amount of time with this. Far better than any other app. Only suggestion would be to make sorting files by name or size available. Thanks!!

Love the ability to watch videos faster, but would like the ability to stream via DLNA.

This app has made watching and searching through softball instructional videos a breeze! From the ease of transferring videos to the iPad, moving them into folders once on the iPad to quickly being able to scroll through them to find what I want. Add the ability to speed up and watch the video faster to being able to swipe to jump ahead or go back a few seconds to go in slow motion forward or backward frame by frame! Honestly, Im not sure if there is anything I could ask for that could make this app better. It has everything I need and more!
